Program Information
The department offers undergraduate and graduate programs leading to the following degrees:
- B.Eng. Civil Engineering
- B.Eng. Civil Engineering (Concentration in Management)
- M.A.Sc. and M.Eng. Civil Engineering
- Ph.D. Civil Engineering
- B.Eng. Environmental Engineering
- M.A.Sc. and M.Eng. Environmental Engineering
- Ph.D. Environmental Engineering
The department also offers graduate studies in Fire Safety Engineering within the general disciplie of Structural Engineering.
The graduate programs are offered through two joint institutes with the University of Ottawa:
- Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Civil Engineering
- Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Environmental Engineering

A co-op program is available for all undergraduate programs and provides a unique combination of study and work experience terms ranging in length from 4 to 16 months.
